Ug for more Mini sadness

Alas, my friends as returned to using my Mini after its "repair" --in two days it was back to its old problem...so I am back on the email exchange with my guy at Dell to "work it out." That being said, all the energy it takes to copy files, make adjustments etc. is unbelievable to me. It can't be what is most important in life--but it sure interrupts your life when things aren't working right. So that is my little sb story.

Beyond that the garden is dripping wet and the grass grows an inch a minute. My reclining Buddha is ensconsed with little white flowers...The lilac trees is huge with purple blooms and the bleeding hearts are huges with little pink and white hearts. The wisteria is suddenly blooming over the gate and the white dogwood is floating white in the gray sky. I look. I study it. But, there is no getting out there on a day so wet as this. Tomorrow.

it is dark lavendar and yummy

I finished my second crocheted hat tonight--and I love it...I expanded the expansion part of the pattern so it actually fits my head. When get a picture I'll post it and you will all go, "Wow--I want one too!" I am ready to start another...it is calming to work on. Now, mind you I really only know one stitch and will someday have to learn more. Maybe a scarf is in my near future.

It was a beautiful day--most of which I missed...I saw some of it out the window and could see that the lilac tree is just bursting to bloom its branches off.

Time for bed and to finish my first Miss Silver book. I know this is fiction--but my word that woman knits fast!

Have I mentioned that my MINI had to go back to the "workshop?" I hope it comes home to me soon - all intact and ready to compute. I miss its sweet smallness.

among the totally annoying really little things in life

Ok. Keyboard letters that continue to pop off...my 'n' key, this is driving me nuts. Do you know how often you use an 'n' in English? First I simply popped it back on, then eventually the little plastic part and the little rubber part both came off....so I had to superglue it...that held a month or so, until this morning when it started wobbling again and I realized it is off again. So I pop it back on knowing it is doomed to come completely off in due time.
(I picked this pic to go with my annoyed feeling--it is a wonderful art journal page made by my friend Kim.)
