From There to Here

Well, that week was like falling off the face of the earth...spent much of it visiting our youngest (college age) in the hospital and learning the scary details of a new diagnosis. Yet another shoe that dropped in the bizarre storyline of our life. She will ultimately be okay, but will have a whole new different underlying 'program' to live by and stay closely attuned to. Me? I've been knitting through it...just like Elizabeth Zimmerman said:

"Knit on, with confidence and hope, through all crises."

Knit on...sometimes around and around on a hat, and sometimes back and forth on a blue baby shawl. It might be the only way.
