You Capture--Quiet

I turned around in the kitchen the other day and found this onion doing its own thing...and I said, "Quiet." In the midst of loading and unloading groceries and the dishwasher, sweeping the kitchen , making meals...here is one onion among three--and some oranges & apples, and this one onion is reaching for the dim sunlight with thoughts of growing something new. Huh.

You Capture--Hopeful

Our prayer garden at church. This quiet place with benches, blooms, a peace pole and more, is used not only by members of the church and visitors, but also by members of the community that know it is there just by word of mouth or because they stop by for the Monday Night meal, or other event.

A beautiful bride- a beginning...

A lit candle, with prayer rocks and a short quote. These sit on a table in my living room. I am a big candle person. If I am holding someone in prayer--if at all possible I light a candle. The light shines in the darkness....I find hope in that light.

You Capture--Shapes

A slow offering of shapes. Two things I love: the little fish crackers and the Via instant coffee from Starbucks. One thing ever present--medicine vials; and one new thing being tried....room freshener in bead form (I know they look like anemic fish eggs but the are not.) Shapes are everywhere! Hard to choose. Cheers.

You Capture--Faces

A coworker passed on an ASPCA calendar to me...these are my February friendly faces..
An Amish doll...with a face and yet, no face... that lived in my office has recently found a new loving home.
A bookshelf bear with a friendly face.

One of six plates I received from my Grandmother...she picked the up in LA a long long time ago. Yes, they all have funny drawings and humorous titles. They are probably the only possession I can think of that all 4 kids want to inherit.

A Pocket Monkey-face...what more need I say?

A Real Face! She wanted to know why I was taking her picture....should I have told her? Hmmm.
