I turned around in the kitchen the other day and found this onion doing its own thing...and I said, "Quiet." In the midst of loading and unloading groceries and the dishwasher, sweeping the kitchen , making meals...here is one onion among three--and some oranges & apples, and this one onion is reaching for the dim sunlight with thoughts of growing something new. Huh.

Ha! I found one of these rogue onions in my cupboard today too. I was half tempted to plant it and see what happened.

This post made me smile. I wish I could get my heart to be quiet and not so restless and full of anxiety/fear all of the time. I am really still at a point in my life where I am scared of the "now" and of my future. (tears)
